i’m currently in taiwan and i bought a pack of reese’s. they’re the exact same thing as the ones you find in america which are 210 calories. but somehow on the packaging there is an extra label attached which says that it’s 225 calories but when i peel the label off, the original packaging says it’s 210 calories. so i’m super confused about this and what i should count it as

It’s right there…
I would just take the higher number and run with that
the 535 is the calories for 100g of reese’s. the package is only 42g. so they’re 5.35 calories per 1g, it should be 224.7. it’s weird it says 210 though. i believe it’s because america has loose laws regarding calorie labeling. usually labels in asia and other countries besides the usa in general are more accurate since they have stricter laws. i believe they’re actually 225 so just count as 225 to be safe! they’re definitely not 535 though!! 🙂
hey there! I’m also in Taiwan and have realized this as well, but for me personally, I would trust the higher number (which tends to be Taiwan’s written calories)
wow, i recently bought reese’s mini. 4pcs are about 8g per piece (nf serving is 4pcs = 160cal 32g). if it’s a 42g serving like in that packaging, it would be 210cal.
it was imported from the us, so yeah, i just wish companies would be more accurate in their labeling.
