Made some lamb, polenta and a used the broccoli that was leftover. I think it still needed something…other than more broccoli.

What’s your lighting situation? Do you have something on your phone, or are you blessed with gorgeous overhead or natural lighting??
Very nice photo

Looks incredible!!!!!
A Michelin start chef would add two or three of those small purple flowers. (That’s what it’s missing) 😉

Some bodies watched the bear. Looks lit!

looks amazing, if anything maybe like a mint jelly, or something along the lines of a sweet potato puree but I think that would fuck up the textures.

It’s missing a good red wine, preferably a Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon if I’m invited, which I’ll happily bring… cough cough… hint hint

Beautiful plating. I’d have a lot more veg but that’s personal preference. If you wanted something else you could do mint jelly? Maybe even a cranberry gastrique or something.

Fennel roasted beetroot?

What’s the green “sauce”? I think I see garlic and lemon zest and mint garnish. Like a mint gremolata? I would add like a lamb jus or demi drizzle for some depth of flavor. Or you could switch up your polenta, I bet some feta cheese mixed in would match nicely. Or a bastardized tzatiki with some yogurt and cucumber. But it looks really nice other than not having enough broccolini which you know.
Edit: typo

Nice looking pottery.

This is too fancy. Like someone at the table would be afraid to touch it, like they’d have to pay $40 for the plate of food

What did you put in your polenta? I don’t think it needs much else, just make it tighter on the plate in my professional opinion and sauce wise I would have just thinned out the pesto(?) you have on top and done a little drizzle. Great job honestly, I bet that was delicious.

Home? That looks like the bar top, plateware and wine glasses from one of my go to restaurants in DC

Never seen polenta before, learned something new today. Thanks!

Some red cranberry sauce would be banging and gives it a eye catching look.

Took longer to apply an extreme amount of filters to the photo than cooking it.
