    Definitely feeling the age here. Pretty tired. Aromas of leather, cocoa, potpourri, smoke, tea, sandalwood. Kinda flat, really. Mouth is likewise, med body, med acid, low/resolved tannin, med intense in the mouth with a shortish finish. Overall, shoulda drank 15 years ago…

    Don’t get me wrong, I love old wine. This is just… Highway robbery. $250. Something I’ll never do with Eyrie ever again.

    I opened a 2002 Citation tonight. I was in excellent form and barely showed it’s 22 years. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you get this. Sorry OP.

    Wild to me that they’re selling it at that price point like it’s a treasure trove. It’s past its prime. Maybe get in touch with them about it?
