Tried to restore a beat up used one and went a little too hard with a wire wheel. Worried about rust coming in now.

You’re 100% fine. Fire fixes everything. Might be the cleanest grill I’ve ever seen. Even if it -does- rust, that grill has at least 10 years of use on it if you just maintain it.

I’ve replaced the quick clean on mine twice now. Still works great

People see YouTubers doing a deep clean and think it’s a good idea. Please understand they have to come up with gimmicks for content. Just scrape off the food wipe out excessive grease/fat drippings and you’re good.

Charcoal grills aren’t stoves they’re not supposed to look spotless.

Use it till it fails… and don’t do that again! Just clean ash and scrap buildup with a plastic paint scraper. No additional cleaning is needed. It’s an outdoor BBQ pit!

Man this has to be the cleanest Weber I’ve seen lol… and I’m over here contemplating doing a deep clean on my mine only to read the comments and making me think twice hahaha…. You’re good my boy!!

  7. Start cooking, and get a few layers of grease and creosote in there.
