I have excitedly picked up a used Weber Spirit 2 to hook to a house propane line at our house. We’ve been here about a year. I had the line hooked up by the propane company that leases our propane. I’m going to ring them back about this too but wanted to see if there was something I could do fix this issue. I’ve already tried to adjust the air flow to burners behind the knobs to see if that would do anything but not much else. Thanks for the help!

I would try adjusting the air intakes again. It takes a bit of fiddling to get things balanced.

I can access and adjust mine while they are lit. I just move quickly before they get too hot.

You could try bleeding the line from burners to regulator to house supply valve. Close house supply to your bbq, open up all burners, detach from house if easy, so that all gas leaves bbq system and lines. Wait a couple minutes, close up burners, reattach gas and to bbq and turn on house supply and light bbq. Resets the regulator.

Was the grill a propane grill or natural gas grill?

Do some research on the burners themselves. Pretty sure propane and natural gas do not use the same size burner holes. The grill top is not compatible with the type of gas being used. I’ve heard they sell the alternative burners online to swap out with the propane standard it comes with.
