Pork is the most consumed meat in Greece and pork chops one of the most popular dishes you will come across during lunch time. This delicious Greek recipe uses very few ingredients but combines high quality Greek thyme, honey and capers to create a very quick and tasty dish.
INGRIDIENTS (serves 4)
4 pork chops, around 200gr each and about 2cm thick
1.5 tbsps thyme honey
150ml red wine vinegar
2-4 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
1 medium sized onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp fresh thyme (or half a tbsp dried thyme)
2 tbsps capers, washed
Salt and pepper to taste

This looks amazing. I was recently on Crete but missed the pork chops and chips. What sort of oil did you use for the chips. They were perfectly browned. Was it beef fat? Anyway, thanks for sharing this video.
