Northern Colorado restaurants serving Christmas Day, Christmas Eve dinners

Chimney Park

Chimney Park, Windsor’s celebrated spot for fine dining, is serving up a special three-course, fixed-priced Christmas Eve dinner this year. The menu includes your choice of a “feuille de brick” pastry with baked triple cream soft-ripened cheese, winter squash soup or citrus beet salad. The main course is a choice between honey-roasted ham, Scottish salmon oscar and a Black Angus beef prime rib roast. Dessert includes a choice of a cardamom pear creme caramel or a traditional Yule log, or “buche de noel” with chocolate mousse, buttercream and eggnog anglaise. The meal is $110 each for adults and $30 for children 12 years old and younger. There is also an optional $60 three-wine pairing. To make a reservation, visit OpenTable.com or call the restaurant at 970-686-1477.

The Emporium: An American Brasserie

Take your pick from The Emporium’s Christmas buffet, which runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Day at the Old Town eatery, 378 Walnut St. Its menu features a range of starters, salads and sides as well as main courses of prime rib, turkey breast, baked cod and duck a l’orange, and winter-themed treats for dessert. The buffet is $65 per person. For the full menu, visit The Emporium website. To make a Christmas reservation, head to OpenTable.com.

Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar

While closed on Christmas Day, this Old Town seafood eatery, 123 N. College Ave., is appropriately taking on an Italian tradition with its own Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. Its five-course menu will feature seven different fish and cap off with a tiramisu dessert. The Christmas Eve meal is $85 per person, with optional wine pairings available for each course. For the full menu, visit the Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar website. To make a reservation, head to OpenTable.com.

Papa’s Table

This Wellington eatery is once again eschewing its regular Italian menu for a special Christmas lunch and dinner. Papa’s Table, 3728 Cleveland Ave., will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Christmas Day. It is serving up a range of entrees, from roast prime rib and roast turkey to a fresh swordfish filet and seafood lasagna. Entrees range from $25 to $35 and include a choice of soup or salad. A kids plate is available for $12. To make a reservation, call and speak to someone at 970-568-4139. Papa’s Table does not take reservations over voicemail.

The Stanley Hotel

Dine in style at Estes Park’s historic Stanley Hotel this Christmas.
