We all start somewhere.
Here’s an idea: take an image of an appropriately sized recycling logo (3 arrows) and place it under acetate or parchment. Do your icing on the parchment, using the image as a guide. Once they harden, you can either put them onto the cookies with icing as glue, or put them on top of a full layer of icing (a logo with a background).
Edit: that technique would also be a great way to make bug cookies, if you ever wanted to do that.
