Focaccia is an Italian flat bread. The name is probably derived from Latin (meaning oven).
The base of focaccia dough is similar to pizza dough, but thicker. This dough is made of flour, water, yeast, oil, sugar and salt. The taste of focaccia bread can be adjusted and improved by using olive oil and spices. Focaccia is widely used in Italy and other parts of the world as a sandwich bread, but can also be used as a side dish by adding spices or other additives.

2 cups of lukewarm water
2 tablespoons of sugar
7 grams of yeast
4 glasses of flower
