I increased the sugar to 80g, and steeped thai tea in the milk and water (in the tangzhong and base recipe) at a 1:4 ratio. Overall they taste pretty good! Thai tea flavor is mild but there. In the future I might play around with a higher steeping ratio, but I was worried about bitterness coming through.
