I’m back!
I (very, very last minute) decided to put together some last minute cookies for our last lab meeting of the year (The Mountain Legacy Project, we look at change in mountains over time!) [https://mountainlegacy.ca/project/ice/](https://mountainlegacy.ca/project/ice/)
These aren’t the best cookies of the bunch, but I was in such a rush to get to the lab I didn’t take any photos until afterward (oops!)
What I learned:
– Don’t start cookies from scratch at 8:30pm… You. Will. Suffer. – These are the first cookies where I have tried to have segmented pieces. It mostly worked, but I will allow the icing to come together a big more next time. I wanted a ‘blocky’ look, so I don’t hate it. – I should outline in hybrid or detail for a crisper line. I didn’t on the white cookies and they look a bit more… ‘organic’ – I’m still having some issues with cratering, so if anyone has tips on this for larger sections of cookie please let me know!
The ones on the right take inspiration from Pinterest (I’m sorry, I can’t remember the artist!) and the ones on the left I just made up as I went along.
