You may want to enjoy the spoils of a home-cooked Christmas meal without the mess. Or perhaps you’re looking forward to staying in for a simple, but delicious, dinner for one or two.
Try ordering out this year and leave the cooking to someone else.
Here are a handful of local restaurants, markets and caterers throughout Bucks County offering holiday meals to-go.
Golden Dawn, Levittown
Golden Dawn is offering holiday specials to-go with four meals to choose from: ham steak with pineapple bourbon glaze, beef brisket with mushroom demi-glace, seafood Steven and roast turkey over stuffing. Each dinner comes with soup, salad and pudding.
Holiday hours: Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Altomonte’s Italian Market, Doylestown and Warminster
Altomonte’s catering menu includes holiday specialties such as roasted turkey breast with gravy, roast beef in an au jus, sliced ham with brown sugar and pineapple glaze, stuffed shells and penne shrimp scampi. A variety of sides, appetizers and desserts are also available.

Karlton Cafe, Quakertown
Karlton’s holiday dinner menu includes a choice of ham or roasted turkey with gravy, along with creamy mashed potatoes, classic green beans, homemade stuffing and fresh-baked cornbread. Add-on sides are also available for an additional charge.

Formerly known as Marie’s Kozy Korner, this family-owned bar and restaurant is open every day of the year, including Christmas Day. Dine in or grab takeout from their full menu, which includes a variety of breakfast platters, appetizers, wings, pizza, sandwiches and burgers.

La Stalla Italian Market, Newtown
