  1. Le Fournil is my favorite of the bunch. Excellent pastries and bread. Particularly good canelé

  2. And top it off with a chai from mud spot…my favorite!

add another 20 minutes and you can go to Apollo (not much of a line on weekdays), Tompkins, From Lucie, Petit Chou, Smor Bakery, and Bread Story

the East Village really is blessed with bakeries

Wow gonna add these places to my bakery list 😋

The rose pistachio croissant from librae is terrible. Safest to buy them all out and send them to me for proper disposal…

For real tho: it’s absolutely incredible

Where’s the chocolate chip cookie from 🙂

  7. If you wanna go slightly north, you can also hit Le Petit Chou (pistachio eclair!) and Bread Story. I’ve done many East Village Bakery crawls

  8. Those cookies from Hani’s are so damn good. Last weekend, I meant to eat half of one at the counter and take the rest home. None of it made it home.

Went to Librae and Hani’s at this time this week and can confirm. Much better experience! If you want the breakfast/cheese plate at Librae though (which I highly recommend), they don’t start those until after 9.

I’m jealous; La cabra is awesome and way more convenient than going to Aarhus!
