Is this a good deal? Says one leg needs fixed and missing main knob. Other than that he says everything works, 2 years old. Thanks for the info

Hard pass. What’s the inside look like?

I would pass… It also depends on what the inside looks like…

Yeah, there’s a reason they’re not showing the inside of it. Pass.

Even brand new I’ve heard those have big temp fluctuations and inaccurate readings

The guy looks well worn for 2 years old. My 1.2 year old pit boss looks practically brand new, aside from some gunk around where the lid closes.
Those OkJ’s are typically around $600 brand new (though you can find them on sale for much less), but used they lose their value quick. Doubly so when they are left uncovered for a time. The fact that the seller didn’t seem to take care of it would give me pause. Though if it works 100%, it would be a good deal. But if it craps out in 2 months, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Whatever you end up buying, spend the $30 to get a cover. Stick burner and charcoal smokers will get damaged being out in the elements over time. Pellet grills, with sensitive electronics, will go bad way faster if they aren’t covered.

Ask for an inside pic, and if good, offer them $50. Otherwise, it appears to have been misused.
