I think I see the green tip of a pepper already growing?
This is the first flower and it has been open for about 2 days. (jalapeno) I think the pepper is starting to grow inside of it. That is fast

Could be several reasons. But if you want to encourage vegetative growth, you should pinch the flowers

That’s the blossom end(ovary) and it doesn’t mean the flower has been pollinated.

Not just pepper plants but all plant life is just amazing. All of these mechanisms that make them work. Science even thinks photosynthesis uses quantum mechanics.

Yup those green tips are peppers. I wouldn’t pick the flowers I picked 2 of mine and those peppers stopped growing.
