  1. It's actually from Turkish Galata Böreği 😂 this is not Greek at all. Layers and layers of paper thin pastry is not Greek. You learnt this from Turks. Same as baklava has many layers .. all Turkish. You will not find any historic records of a dish like this amongst Greeks prior to mingling with Turks
