I'm not very experienced with curries or Indian. I can handle a bit of spice, but not much.
Thanks in advance!

I’d go for tandoori chicken, which is just yogurt marinated chicken cooked in a tandoor oven. It’ll come with grilled onions and usually grilled bell peppers as well. That + a moderate amount of chutney and a naan bread can be a well balanced meal

Veg bhuna or veg madras is good and pretty low cal
    Avoid the curries with cream

life hack: ask chatgpt this question by saying the restaurant name or screenshotting the menu and ask it for low cal recs! i’ve been doing this often and it’s so useful

  4. Kahari paneer. Around me it’s not super oily and doesn’t have much/any cream. I’d ask your server. The amount of ghee and cream can vary a lot by restaurant. Paneer will get you a decent amount of protein but about the same amount of fat. Watch your portion size and you should be fine for one meal.

Dal (lentils) have a good amount of protein. Saag paneer is also a good option. It’s a spinach curry with cottage cheese cubes (similar concept of tofu squares) in it. Consider eating it with chapati, which is a whole wheat tortilla, rather than rice or naan (flatbread).

  6. Chana masala (chickpeas in masala gravy) is my favorite, but they don’t appear to have it.
