Please try the artichoke bottoms. I know it’s controversial, but palm oil is one of the only oils I can have. I’m so bummed that so many TJ items have soy oil and seed oils. I’m always grateful when I see palm oil

A lot of really good items. My mom loves artichokes, that would be right up her alley. The Herbs De Province potatoes really a quick and yummy side. I like to put them in the air fryer. By the way, the S in Herbs De Province is silent.

The artichoke bottoms make an elegant appetizer. Add a spoonful of sour cream and top with a little caviar. Yum. Interesting is seeing how those frozen tacos taste.

I absolutely love artichokes, but I’ve never heard of just getting artichoke bottoms curious about that. And I was just at Trader Joe’s today. My friend took me because it’s 45 minutes away from where I live and I didn’t know about them or I would’ve picked them up. I just picked up those same tomatoes. They are the tastiest tomatoes. They’re so weird looking but they’re delicious and I also bought fresh mozzarella and some basil and balsamic glaze. Yeah that’s where I’m going. I can eat that as my dinner.

Do you ever buy the Hiros cherry tomatoes? TJ's has had them for awhile and they are really good–home grown tasting. One TJ's store in San Diego had no diamond reserve Oakville cab, but another had cases, so I bought 3 bottles. If it's as good as you say, $20 is a bargain. Finally, I bought and fixed the Sri Lanken curry rice with cashrws, which is very easy and pretty good. Note the pronunciation: Sri Lanka is a country–it's pronounced like that.
I absolutely need the artichoke bottoms. Lots of great gems this week. I haven’t been able to get the pears for the last 3 years. I’ve asked a few times and no one seems to know anything about them. Maybe it’s just in certain areas. Happy Holidays and a Blessed New Year from our family to yours. 😊🎄

Palm oil is a MCT just like coconut oil so a healthy option.
Palm kernel oil is not because it is made from the seed, this makes them very different.
