Going to need to really work at flower petals as I was attempting a poinsettia.. but otherwise feeling proud considering I just started doing this this week.

American buttercream, followed Kerry’s Bouqcakes recipe.

Is it normal the first few passes that the buttercream feels stiff? I assume warmth from hands ends up warming up the bag a bit more and making the buttercream “flow” better?

    You did a lovely job for your second time decorating.
    For cupcakes, I add a tad extra cream (1/2 tbsp) to buttercream to make it easier to pipe.
