This was good and I did enjoy my lunch but I wouldn’t get it again. That’s a bit weird to say cause normally I repeat when it’s good but this ultimately didn’t do it for me.
First off, skipped the green beans (hate ‘em) and I skipped the ginger also. The past few recipes with ginger, I felt it overpowered them too much even when I used sparingly. For this one, I’m glad I did. I did enjoy the sauce, the sriracha gave it a great flavor. The recipe didn’t ask but I did “cook” the sauce for a min. I just poured it into the pan to heat it up a bit and thicken it. It made it more like a bit of a glaze and I didn’t mind that. Not sure why it’s called a pesto tho. I did forget to use the sesame seeds 🙁
I don’t know how, they were right there!!!
Anyways, while it was good, it just didn’t wow me. I like to look forward to cooking my lunches and I just wouldn’t with this one.
