She is notoriously hard to impress, and is a woman of very plain tastes, so I wasn’t sure she’d love the gingerbread. But she actually asked to take some home with her!
It’s a gingerbread cake with cream cheese frosting. Actually quite easy to put together, and it came out really tasty! I get the magazine which had this cake in it, but they also have the base recipe on their website:
Paired with their cream cheese frosting and styled with sugared cranberries and rosemary. Christmas in cake form!
