When I first moved to Seattle, I was talking to one of my clients how I was feeling a bit homesick around the holidays and how in New Mexico we make a cookie during Christmas time called biscochitos. She came in and brought each one of my coworkers and myself a little tins full of cookies. Everybody else got traditional Christmas cookies, iced sugar, gingerbread, etc.. but mine was filled with beautiful biscochitos and yes I cried. 🥹
