This reminds me so much of a dish that is a pub/restaurant classic here: “Plankstek”. It’s a steak served au gratin on a cedar or oak plank, with mash rather than baked potatoes, often with asparagus. And, get this: with a sauce Bearnaise. Usually a sirloin or tenderloin, rather than ribeye, but… something about it served on the board just made me think of it. Looks really good. Nice chimi!
