I did not let her open it, or keep it for cooking. I asked her if I could give her cash for this relic, and she said I could just take it.

Bordeaux bottle shape? Check. Cork and not screw top? Check. The guise that it is a tawny port or Vin Santo via color? Check.

    I worked in a liquor store in the 80’s and we used to sell this by the truckload, like it or not it’s a crowd pleaser for those who don’t drink wine with any regularity. This bottle looks like it’s turned into an American Y’Quem, I’d honestly be super intrigued by how it tastes now (I’d have zero expectations, but really curious).
