PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) – A community dinner was held in Presque Isle on Christmas Day for anyone who would otherwise be alone on the holiday.
The Presque Isle Elks fed dozens of county people a variety of foods, from turkey and ham to assorted cheeses and pies. The dinner was prepared by thirty volunteers from the Elk’s club, as well as donations from local businesses. The event also included live music.
This is the nineteenth year the Elk’s have continued their family Christmas dinner tradition.
