So I saw someone make green trees with matcha but I’m not a fan of matcha and I wanted to enjoy a slice of the bread too so I made colored flour.
It was a process but I’m happy with the result!!
Next round will be figuring out how to not burn the tops of my trees.
I’ll take all of the suggestions ☺️

can you share how you made the colored flour??

Cover the tops with foil during the first half of the bake. Pop it off Midway, when you rotate the pan and you should have unburned treetops. Also that’s beautiful work!

Looks amazing! Can’t wait to see your next batch!

Maybe making little tin foil hats for the tops of the trees, added once the lips have already set a bit, could help with the burning? Though I actually really like the gradient effect it gives. Beautiful loaf all around!!

    Edit: grammar
