WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — On Christmas Day, the West Palm Beach Police Department embarked on a heartwarming mission, delivering meals to homebound seniors and families in need.
The initiative aimed to spread joy and ensure that everyone could enjoy a festive meal during the holiday season.
The department expressed its heartfelt gratitude to THE FUND for West Palm Beach Police for their generous support, as well as to the community members who played a crucial role in making the holidays brighter for many.
“Your kindness makes a difference,” the police department posted, highlighting the impact of the community’s efforts.

Among the dedicated volunteers was Communication’s Administrative Supervisor Jack Wooten, who chose to spend his day off contributing to this noble cause. Thomas Strauser from ONW and the Buxton family also lent their support, showcasing the community’s spirit of giving.
Joining the initiative were Palm Beach County State Attorney-elect Alexcia Cox and viral marathon runner Officer Nelson Caceres, both of whom helped deliver meals and spread holiday cheer.
