Went for a team dinner to Brasero. It was great at easily accommodating a group of 8. We opted for a la carte family style. Pao de queijo was a stellar hit as soon as it hit the table. It came with a side of concord jelly.
The roasted squash was our favorite small side share, followed closely by the sweet potsto.
I'm always a sucker for whole fish and this one was delicately char-grilled.
We shared a whole pork shank which was good.
Our favorite main was the surf and turf. It's a wagyu picanha as well as half a lobster. That is what disappeared from the shared plate the fastest. The picanha was beautifully seared and cooked. The miso butter was a lovely complement.
Our dessert was a chocolate banana budino with a Nilla wafer crumble. Delicious banana taste and a great mix of salty and sweet with great textual contrast.
Overall it was a great time together with delicious food in a super cozy ambiance.
