With the roll split like that, that has to be a Vino’s???

  2. *rural* Pennsylvania, because they don’t do that weird fuckery with the bread in Philly.

Not sure I’d call it a Hoagie but it is a tasty looking sandwich :3

  4. I’m from the west coast but I call it a hoagie too, because it’s a funny word.

VVVVVVINOOOOOOOS! Buy three at a time. Every time.

Why do they cut the bread oddly? Is there a benefit that every other sandwich maker doesn’t know about? It makes it look goofy and not a fun way.

    That’s awesome, I’ll try that!

I would like to see a cross section photo. The way the bread is sliced is confusing me. It looks like it’s (from left to right) bread/roll, cheese, meat, cheese, bread/roll, lettuce, bread/roll.

  10. Not sure if this is allowed, but if you want to learn more about regional Pennsylvania subs, hoagies, etc. give @hkrall a follow on instagram. He’s eaten and drawn LOTS of sandwiches.
