It was “you really shouldn’t use that” before. Now it’s just “no.”

  2. El_Mariachi_Vive

Someone is going to get seriously hurt.

  3. YourMomsFavoriteChef

The owner will switch to trying shredded cheese on the sandwiches before he replaces this thing. This can seriously hurt someone.

Next one is the whole restaurant spinning

  5. Oniichan38

Hey I’m no expert but I think that thingy shouldn’t move

  6. StaleGrapeNuts

You should probably just stick your face in that and get it over with since you refuse to learn

  7. You guys want to learn some interesting facts about angular momentum? Play with this slicer a bit lol

  8. Shoddy_Yak_6206

That’s just….. hahahahahaahahhahahaha the fucking sigh had me rolling

  9. Dustin0791

You have the right to refuse unsafe work. Stop using the slicer!

  10. Someone’s gonna get seriously fucked up by that thing. Wow

  11. NounAdjectiveXXXX

Fuck that call OSHA or your countries equivalent. If not OSHA call a repair shop from the restaurant phone and feign ignorance when they come by.

Oh what’s up dude, it’s you again in the same place with a worse problem.

    How’s that job hunt going

I’ve seen some clever portable speaker setups but a slicer/turntable combo is *wild*.

Ask the boss how he gets the records to stick to the plate and if he has an old cake tester for a stylus.

Saddle up and ride that bad boy into low earth orbit. Gonna let Jesus know he borrowed money from the wrong space cholo

I don’t care what the slicer does. That’s not sanitary at all, and you should know better. This is disgusting.

BRO YOURE CUTTING CHEESE WHY IS THERE STILL MEAT BITS LEFT

  17. andre3kthegiant

That dangerous, and it looks nasty. What are all those brown bits when you are trying to slice a white cheese?

  18. dirtyenvelopes

I hope the rest of the kitchen isn’t as filthy as this slicer

Ok. So actual answer here. Depending on the power it’s setup for their will be two round ceramic or plastic looking things under the slicer hooked up to the motor. One is called a start capacitor. Should be like 30-150Ufd at anywhere from 120v to 400v. The other a much lower capacitance. Something like 10ufd. Replace the larger value one. With at least the same voltage.

So say it’s 60Uf at 120v. You can put in anything from 50-70ufd with anything from 120v-up. So if you can only find one for 250v. That’s fine. Does not affect how it works.

Trust me. Anyone says otherwise can inspect anyone one of the 200 or so motors I’ve rebuilt. And fuck off.

Of carry on. I mean I have a bench grinder I can’t be bothered to fix. I don’t have one small enough and can’t be bothered to order one. So ita a spin start too.

Now if it sounded like it was fighting itself while on making a growling noise or would stall easy. That’s the second cap.

The more you know!!! **. Cue rainbow. **
