My friend and I went with an extended family member (who was kind enough to pay for us both 😅) to Eataly for a Christmas lunch. The two of us got the three course special option, and they got a pizza for their option. The menu is included in the photos but described here as well. One dish not included because I put it messily into a takeout box before the photo 😂-
My courses: Zucca E Ricotta for appetizer with Goulash Di Manzo and the Panettone Di Eataly
My friend's courses:We got the bruschetta autunnale
(Housemade Sourdough Bread, Whipped Ricotta,
Roasted Butternut Squash, Urbani Truffle Honey) as a side along with the gran tagliere (Chef ’s Selection of Italian Cured Meats and Artisanal Cheeses.) He also chose the Goulash Di Manzo and the Panettone came with the three course meal.
My family member: the Diavola pizza!
The food was absolutely fantastic, you could get the Christmas menu but you could also order off the regular menu as well. I was surprised they were open on Christmas but it's good to keep in mind for future reference if wanting to go somewhere. They also had the other restaurants open as well but one was dinner only. I will also include that menu because it looked delicious!
As a side note some of you may remember the summerhill meals I post, this is the same generous family member who has been going there a lot since my cancer has worsened. Well as a Christmas gift they took us there after and I was able to get a $250 haul of good eats! I'm always grateful for when they can do this, as cooking has gotten difficult for me lately.
Happy holidays everyone and I hope you enjoy some delicious food on this day! I have a turkey dinner from summerhill market calling my name for dinner tonight when I feel hungry again… ðŸ¤
