I’m always impressed by how perfectly others score their dough. Whenever I try, my lame seems to drag and pull the dough instead of cutting it cleanly, as if it’s sticking to the blade. I’ve tried quicker, more decisive motions, adjusting the angle, and even wetting the blade as someone suggested, but nothing seems to work quite right.
