


Very new bread baker. I have made 4 loaves of sandwich bread and 4 loaves of French bread. They have all turned out amazing and it seems I have been blessed by the bread baking gods. I’m not sure what I need to sacrifice to keep them happy.
I decided to make Tini’s milk bread rolls. I did not have dry milk powder so I just omitted it. It took significantly longer to rise than her recipe, but I was patient and I think they turned out great. I also only had jumbo eggs and got a double yolk with no impact on the recipe.
My next challenge is sourdough and I suspect that the bread baking gods might put me through a challenge with that one!

Wow that’s incredible results. How was the crumb?
My sourdough starters kept failing on me, i decided to go for poolish sorta. Next time you bake a loaf like this, rinse your bowl a bit with some water to gather any leftovers and use that to add your flour to and begun your starter.

That looks really good, I made a second attempt to make Shokupan today and it turned out better than I expected, I followed the recipe to the “T”.
