Looks like there was a bubble when the enamel was applied and it popped. Very small, but I'm seeing the stoneware underneath. Is this safe to use?

Idk if it is a bad thing or not, but if it’s a brand new one I’d exchange it

Yikes – yes return it. If it is just “cosmetic” it’s not a problem but if it’s creating a hole/going through to the stoneware this could cause some problems.

Its fine health wise, but the little “click” with every stir would drive me crazy. Return.

Ceramics and enamel and anything fired expands and contracts with heating/cooling. That’s just gonna get bigger and be a bacteria-haven.

Return it. Make sure to tel them why so they don’t resell it.

That’s a factory defect and might be hard to clean. Just contact the manufacturer for returns.

I want to use my slow cooker while I’m out or busy elsewhere. I couldn’t not think about that and wonder if it’s expanded and exploded while I’m not with it.

  7. It will crack and get you sick, not sure which will come first….just return it

I got a crock pot for Christmas a few years ago and had this exact same issue- I sent them an email with photos and they sent me a new liner! It was really straightforward. I mentioned I got it as a gift and so I don’t have a receipt and they just sent me the liner without me having to ask!
