My girlfriend gave me a pepper plant to grow indoors on Christmas and I’m looking for some advice.
I’ve been using miracle grow 1.1.1 fertilizer planning on doing it every other week.
Bought a full spectrum grow light, 6 inches away and have it on 16 hours, off 8 hours.
Looking for opinions on if there’s anything I’m missing or should change.
Also is this 2 plants in 1 pot or is it 1 that split under the dirt? If it’s 2 should I get a second pot and split them up?

The way to tell if it’s 2 plants in one cup, is to partially dig them up and see if the stems connect at a certain point, or if they end in 2 separate root balls. They’d be happier in separate pots if that’s the case. How strong is your light (wattage) ?
1:1:1 is virtually water. NPK are a % of the solution, so 3% nute 97% nothing. These plants are too young for fruiting, so best to pinch every flower you see until the plant is at least 1 foot tall and has a decent canopy. It looks like 2 plants, in which case the competition for root space would be a severe handicap for both.
I would pick off those early peppers, you’re not going to get much more growth until they are picked
Make room for more pepper plants. One of us! One of us!
Your grow light is inadequate.
