Made a smash with lean beef and it was still pretty good. No where near as good as with 20% fat but I don’t feel like I’m missing out.

Depending on the bun that’s probly worse for your weight loss journey than the extra fat from your burger

Protein style is the way to go when craving a burger but on a diet. Sometimes i do burger bowls. Make patties in the air fryer with cheese. Chop up the toppings. Eat with brown rice.

Looks great. If you wanted you can cut this down further by using a keto bun (or just a very low calorie bun 90cal).

    Looks delicious mate 🤤
Edit to show appreciation for the pan/skillet, looks a fine piece of kit

I lost 75 pounds a couple years ago. Meat, cheese, and veggies. Almost zero bread, zero processed frozen food. It was a “diet” then; it’s just how I eat now. I made what I call burger bombs all the time. Two patties grilled up. Add bacon, mushrooms, sautee some onions, lettuce, tomato, whatever you like. Skip the bun and skip the sugary condiments. Season it and sear it up. Slice of cheese, maybe two. Put an egg on it if you really want to spice it up.

Don’t let the modern food pyramid folks tell you that eating like a caveman is bad for you. We ate like cavemen for a million years and we’re only fat now.

This is what I do, too. I use 100g of extra lean beef, which is around 125 calories. No oil on the pan. Bun for 200 calories, cheese 70 calories, ketchup, mustard, and diced onion for roughly 25 calories. I know there are lesser calorie buns, but they taste terrible. If I avoid carbs for the rest of the day, I can add a side frozen fries cooked in the oven/air fryer for an extra 150 calories. Overall, it’s a very satisfying meal.

  7. The bun is the culprit here, not the burger.

Go with no bun, or a low carb option.

Looks good! But Animal fat does not make you fat. You’d be better off eating a nice 80/20 burger with cheese and no bun than one with a bun. Good luck on your weight loss journey!!

Go lean with the beef then throw on a second patty. 😂

The bread will fatten more than the beef fat.

Don’t deny your self good nutrients to be had in one. Burgers Arne not your enemy

  12. you could also use tvp or tofu and sort the issue with seasoning

Eat celery when you’re bored to burn more calories than you intake.

A.C.E (Acetaminophen, Caffeine , Ephedrine) stacking for a period of time will also help.

Nicotine naturally suppresses cravings and you don’t need to smoke to intake it.

The more protein in a meal the longer you can go without feeling hungry.

Intermittent fasting works wonders. Push through the temporary pain of your stomach downsizing & don’t give up and you’ll see results.

When it comes to burgers, don’t skimp on the fat as that’s where the flavour is and there really is no benefit to less fat in a burger as the results for your body would be negligible if the rest of your lifestyle is geared towards healthier eating/living.

Life is to be enjoyed , not restricted . Balance your boat and you won’t need to restrict things you enjoy. Moderation is key to a happy healthy life!

    Good luck!!
