If you’re looking for another dessert to add to your Christmas lineup this week, there’s one that’s sought after more than any other in Massachusetts.
Coffee review website Coffeeness compiled a ranking of each state’s favorite Christmas dessert based on which ones are Googled the most.
The results show that the country has eight favorite holiday desserts: pumpkin pie, sugar cookies, red velvet, tiramisu, pecan pie, biscotti, carrot cake and rice pudding.
Several New England states, including Vermont, Maine and Rhode Island, searched for pumpkin pie the most, but not Massachusetts. Instead, Bay Staters have been searching the most for tiramisu.

The Italian-style dessert typically consists of layers of espresso, ladyfinger cookies, cocoa powder, sugar and mascarpone cheese.
According to Coffeeness, just three other states searched for tiramisu more than any other dessert: Florida, Nevada and Oklahoma.

Based on an analysis of Google searches, Coffeeness found that the most sought after Christmas dessert in the country is pumpkin pie. Twenty states searched for it more than any other dessert in the past month, according to the ranking.
The second favorite based on Google searches is sugar cookies, followed by red velvet, tiramisu and pecan pie.
Biscotti, carrot cake and rice pudding were favorites in just one state each, according to the list.
