Posting this because I’m used to cheese or butter and broccoli but not Hollandaise sauce and it looks like a nice way to upgrade a simple side.

I realize the recipe calls for premade sauce and for those of you that like to make your own, go for it. For those who don’t know how, u/speedylee made his real quick in a [blender](https://redd.it/5ro4rw). It’s just eggs, lemon juice, some salt and cayenne and hot butter. There is a lot of back and forth on the best way to approach it (as Hollandaise expert u/efitz11 points [out](https://old.reddit.com/r/GifRecipes/comments/5ro4rw/eggs_benedict_brunch_for_two/dd9ev44/)) so just figure out your own ratio that suits your palette.

For those that like a challenge and want to make their own garlic and herb butter, u/MMCookingChannel has a recipe for [butter](https://old.reddit.com/r/GifRecipes/comments/morbng/how_to_make_butter/gu5apny/). Make a batch up with some sage, rosemary and thyme. Or for those lactose intolerant, u/Uncle_Retardo can teach you how to make a [Ghee](https://old.reddit.com/r/GifRecipes/comments/c1ach0/easy_ghee/erbuqws/).

For those that want to experiment, u/TheLadyEve made up a [Red Wine Butter](https://old.reddit.com/r/GifRecipes/comments/c48i18/red_wine_butter/ervcnwg/) that could be really interesting depending on what you pair this side with.

Broccoli is a great side so let’s see how amazing we can all make it.
