Grabbed this off marketplace for $60. I was originally just going to store it for parts since I already have a copper "22. To my surprise this thing has never even seen a cook! I think maybe I'll use this one for fast and hot with the vortex and cast iron grates and use my other kettle for low and slow cooking. Does it make sense to use two of the same grill for different things?

$60 is a goddamn steal imo. It’s in amazing shape.

I love that they replaced the top handle with a grill tool hooked handle. I also can’t remember seeing a kettle with the thermostat and vent holes not opposite of each other. Wonder if that’s stock or custom.

I’ve been thinking about getting a second kettle for vortex/searing while keeping the original as a low’n slow barbecue myself. Plus it would be extra grill space if you have company. Makes sense to me.

  4. Lowes near me (Dallas) had the copper ones discounted to $95ish this past weekend. Sadly, none in stock unless I wanted to drive 50 miles.
