Christmas feast community supper brings people together

First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Algonac hosted a Christmas feast free Wednesday community supper on Dec. 18.

“We had a great turnout and several themed guests — an elf, a reindeer, Santa and Mrs. Claus, who were all volunteers, along with community volunteers to serve our meal,” Church Manager Gale Anthony said. “It was a success and many of our guests found new friends and old to socialize with.”

City provides safe drinking water project construction update
