A new study took a deep dive into Google search data, analyzing over 1,000 holiday dessert-related keywords to find out the most popular Christmas desserts in every state.
In Texas, the most popular holiday dessert is the Pecan Pie. With flaky crust, gooey filling, and crunchy pecan topping, this dessert captures the essence of Southern holiday gatherings.
However, Sugar Cookies were the top favorite across the nation, topping the charts in 15 states. Their popularity isn’t surprising — they’re a perfect blend of buttery simplicity and creative potential.
