Has anyone used these before? Curious if they’re legit or are tongs better.

I guess I’ve never had a problem with tongs and they’re already in my kitchen.

They are legit but would expect to see them much longer as they do get used in larger BBQ places but something that short would not get the job done.

Make sure it’s not painted or sealed with anything other than beeswax or a high smoke point edible oil if you want to use it on food. That’s a nice piece, looks hand made.

Alot neater than a 2 prong meat fork but tongs or spatula do the job fine.

  5. But then you couldn’t click tongs together as legally obligated…..

So I used to live in Santa Maria, Ca and these things are very common there. They work very well for turning large meats that you will struggle with tongs. I’ve seen guys there flipping tritip the pieces of chicken and sausages. So it is versatile but it does take practice. I have one and have had it for years.

Are we just ignoring that your bracelet is the same design as this thing?!

Yep. We call them pig tails. Much better than tongs.
