| RECIPE |

– Dungeness Crab & Scallop Spaghettini –
2 whole Dungeness crab clusters
4 diver scallops
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cup crab shells
1/2 cup white wine
3 cups tomato sauce
4 tbsp heavy cream
-To heat crab meat-
5 tbsp butter
cleaned crab meat
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp lemon juive
– To finish-
1 bunch spaghettini
4 tbsp parsley
drizzle of olive oil

-Spicy Vodka & Clam Spaghettini –
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
4 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 can clam meat
2 tbsp clam nectar
5 tbsp Vodka
1.5 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
salt

-To finish –
1 bunch Spaghettini
4 tbsp parsley
parmesan cheese
chili flakes
drizzle of olive oil

  1. This pasta w/crab looks AWESOME. I can't get dungeness but blue crabs are plentiful here. Definitely gonna try that. But I've had bad luck using canned clams, they always seem to be tough. Can you suggest a good brand?
    BTW, my Xmas dinner was a hit! I ended up switching up the day of & doing a ragu w/rigatoni because someone called & told me they were bringing 2 extra guests, so I needed more food. I always have leftover ragu in my freezer, so I made a fresh pot & added the pre-made to that. Everyone loved it. The cookie maven brought us 6 different styles of Xmas cookies plus some killer brownies. I added rum raisin ice cream to accompany the desserts. That & prosecco all around made my 1st & last dinner party of 2024 a success. Thanks for your tips chef!
