Yes. Food is far less perishable than the world makes it seem.

It’ll probably be even better than normal since it’s room temp. It’ll melt in your mouth. You’re totally fine.

food can be at room temp for ~4 hours. 2hrs is ok. source: worked at a mongolian grill like 15 yrs ago

Sushi I’ve bought I usually spend around two hours finishing if I’m taking my time, I’ve also had leftovers I put in the fridge and ate the day after and never had issues. Don’t know what health guidelines say, but from personal anecdotes this should be completely fine

Smell test: if it smells fine, eat it. If it smells funny, throw it out.

could there be a rule change to ban the is this safe post? nobody knows, and it has nothing to do with sushi

I usually make my food (usual a sushi donburi) then spend the next 1.5 – 2 hours cleaning and closing down before I can get to it. Covered like that, you’ll be just fine 👍

No it’s horrible, give it to me. I’ll eat it for you.
Joking!! It should be fine. Enjoy! 🙂

Yes…. Why wouldn’t you…. Are you not telling us something??

If the fish feels like it has a slight coat of oil on it, I wouldn’t eat it.

I actually prefer this. Sushi that’s been in the fridge doesn’t taste good imo. Room temp is the best.

Better to be safe than sorry. Send that over to me and I’ll dispose of it properly.
