This year’s holiday season has come and gone. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some incredible wines. Some of the best GC and 1er Cru Burgundies in the world.
This is the wine I’ll post about because I found it to be the most impressive all around.
I actually made a comment on here a few days ago that Dujac, while great, has a reputation it doesn’t fully deserve. Ironic.
This wine was a knockout. Unmistakably high end Chambolle, from a tremendous vintage. Brick with some rust. Can tell it has a little age. Leather, mushroom, strawberries, red fruit- still ripe, licorice… Unbelievable.
Fantastic balance. For what I paid- close to 100 points. Probably 98/99.
