    Translation, for those confused:

I’m a smoker. I only managed to take 3 puffs, and my co-worker is already disturbing my smoking break.

Chefs who smoke will never be as good as chefs who don’t.

    Signed,
An ex-smoker who never thought they’d stop

ETA: [I pirated the audiobook and then read this and it’s the only way I ever successfully stopped.](https://a.co/d/apebFQs)

I smoked 1-3 packs a day for over ten years. Tried countless times with vapes, gum, etc. to stop and couldn’t. Alan Carr just cracked the code for it.

This is what drove me to never smoke. 16 years old, just transitioned to fryer station. Spent all day prepping for the line cooks and they leave to go smoke during a dinner rush.

  6. Strong believer that non-smokers deserve smoke breaks as well, just as frequently.
