  1. Good deal and those look quite marbled as well. Cheers!

Good decision. You can’t turn that done.

Seems expensive per/lb for select, but those don’t look like select ribeyes. Great marbeling, should come out great!

Is that in Canadian dollars? I get better deals on beef in the desert of Las Vegas where 99.98% of food is imported from other states or countries

My butcher dept. did 6.99/pound for Christmas on USDA choice b/I rib roasts and steaks…. And when we ordered a lot of boxes they gave us 2 boxes of USDA Prime prices as USDA Choice.

    Those two weeks were incredible

For two 21ish ounce steaks that look like that? Shoot I’d have bought every pack.

My question is why are they Select? Looks like US Prime?

Sometimes at the shop i worked at we had a select price and a choice price for our common grilling steaks . Half the time they would ship choice in select boxes , seemed like straight from the plant.

With all of that marbling there’s no way that’s select, it looks like prime to me.

Those puppies look prime to me. Great price on those!

Those selects look better than a lot of prime I’ve seen….

I used to work at a ShopRite in the meat dept and for Christmas ribeyes/rib roasts were $2.99/lb. Granted that was back in 2021 so

That steak looks closer to prime than select, good deal

I’ve never seen a Select steak with so much marbling. Regardless that it is even a ribeye, that must have been mislabeled as Select.

  15. I’m no USDA grader, but, those look quite marbled for select meat. Good find.

Those look incredible. We did prime rib at that price for the week before Christmas, and maybe 2 or 3 cases out of like 40 had marbling at all, just USDA Select at its worst for the rest.
