Didn't even think of getting a before picture, just the during.
Started out as 3 full rolls, brought the cutting board into the living room to eat, just to disgust the wife. 😄
One kinda "California roll"-ish spicy surami, two salmon with different experimental fillings, cucumber, Kewpie mayo, cream cheese, in various combinations.
Only able to finish a little over 2 rolls, and I'm stuffed.
Better tasting than some places I've been, certainly messier to make that expected. Will certainly give it another try.

Congratulations!
It’s a fun dinner to make and enjoy. Keep trying out new flavors and techniques.
Happy rolling😁!
We all start somewhere, next time use much less rice!
Good for you, keep going!
It looks like a at least roll. Presentation could be better but I would still eat it.
This is probably the only real post I see about a first attempt. People keep posting this perfectly done sushi rolls, that look like they were done by a trained pro and claim “My first attempt”, which I think it’s mostly just lies.
Good for you, being honest. Hope you keep making more sushi! 🍣
Your rolls look 2x as good as my first attempt, lol
But tasted delicious just as yours.
Keep watching those good YouTube channels to learn about technique and keep making sushi, it gets a lot easier with time.

I’d recommend cutting your seaweed sheets in half so you don’t have those ugly overlapping parts. Also, your rice isn’t as glossy, you might need some more vinegar
