Those look amazing! I just tried my first batch yesterday using this recipe: https://myhungrytraveler.com/cuisines/north-american-cuisine/new-york-seeded-breakfast-rolls/

They came out a little moist. Similar to a bulkie roll, but had the right shape.

Definitely learned some lessons about shaping and stamping that I plan to tinker with next time. But I was curious if you had any tips for getting mine to come out like these.

I looked at so many recipes online but none of them actually looked like a real NYC bodega style hard roll. Bonkers.

They’re pretty repairable if you’re at all handy or have handy family members!

Oh no! Rip kitchen aid. My parents sent theirs in and received a refurbished one for a good price.

You definitely bought these at a new york bakery and are passing them off as home made. ( just in case you actually made these, I’m going to try your recipe.) WOW! Thanks for posting.

  6. If your kitchen aid is older, try to find a repair facility and get it fixed. The new ones are not built the same.
