Emptied bag into the pan, juices and all, after a quick dip in leftover bath from steak. Same pan I seared the steak in.

Cooked about 10 min, high heat

Served with top sirloin, 131, 6 hours and homemade mac and chz

Love this! So you can reduce all that liquid to a glaze without overcooking the carrots to mush?

I was talking about your post to my partner

Did all the carrots you cook get used or was it a meal prep type situation?

  4. How long do these last in the freezer*? thinking this might be good when carrots are on sale or harvest time

Your technique is great but I bet some legit small organic carrots would probably be better than baby carrots. Would look cool too.

These look great, I am still unsure what I am getting by cooking them this way.

I have always roasted my carrots, peeled and tossed in honey, herbs, and butter. then I make a foil en papillote and roast them for ~30mins, they come out looking almost identical to your final product.

  7. Carrots are great for week of meal prep. I prefer slicing up from full size carrots. The sharp edges crisp nicely, and often seem fresher
